Patient, empathetic, and solution-driven role **Job Title: Customer Service Representative (CSR)** **Employment Type:** Full\-time / Part\-time **Reports To:** Customer Service Manager / Team Lead **Job Summary** We are looking for a customer\-oriented **Customer Service Representative (CSR)** to act as the primary liaison between our company and our valued customers. In this role, you will resolve inquiries, process orders, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is patient, empathetic, and solution\-driven. **Key Responsibilities** * Respond promptly to customer inquiries via **\[phone, email, live chat, and/or social media]** . * Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction and retention. * Provide accurate, valid, and complete information about products, services, and policies. * Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints or technical issues, escalating complex cases to the appropriate department when necessary. * Process orders, forms, applications, returns, and exchanges accurately. * Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints in our **\[CRM system name]** . * Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies (e.g., response time, tone, and data privacy). * Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets (e.g., CSAT scores, first response time, resolution rate). * Stay up\-to\-date with new products, features, and company policies. * Provide feedback to management on recurring customer issues or suggestions for improvement. **Qualifications \& Skills Required:** * High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. * \[1\-2] years of experience in a customer service or client\-facing role. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong active listening and problem\-solving abilities. * Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast\-paced environment. * Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace). * Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. **Preferred (but not required):** * Experience with **\[Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM]** * Familiarity with live chat software and social media support.
