Coordinates with IT, metering, telecom, and field teams **AMI System Operator** CORE RESPONSIBILITIES * Monitors and manages AMI systems including Head End System (HES), Meter Data Management (MDM), and communication networks. * Ensures continuous and seamless communication between smart meters and central systems. * Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves AMI system issues related to connectivity, data flow, and system performance. * Escalates complex or unresolved technical issues to higher support levels or vendors following defined procedures. * Analyzes AMI operational data to provide system performance insights and operational reports. * Performs first\-level diagnosis of communication failures and network performance degradation. * Coordinates with IT, metering, telecom, and field teams to ensure system reliability and performance. * Supports system configuration, updates, and minor enhancements under supervision. * Maintains system logs, incident records, and operational documentation. * Ensures compliance with ISO, ISMS, BCMS, and cyber security policies related to system operations. * Ensures adherence to corporate Health and Safety and operational procedures. * Performs any other tasks assigned by the supervisor. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE \& SKILLS Qualifications / Certifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Experience Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in AMI system monitoring, MDM/HES operations, or similar environments. Key Skills * Proficiency in AMI systems and operational software tools. * Knowledge of smart metering technologies and communication protocols. * Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills. * Good communication and teamwork abilities. * Efficiency, Adaptability, Communication, Initiative. * Written and Spoken English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
