Summary: Seeking an experienced ELV Technician to install, test, commission, and maintain Extra Low Voltage systems for construction and fit-out projects. Highlights: 1. Troubleshoot and rectify faults during installation and commissioning We are looking for an experienced ELV Technician to install, test, commission, and maintain Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for construction and fit\-out projects. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience in various ELV systems and be capable of carrying out installations in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities * Install and terminate structured cabling systems (Cat6/Cat6A), fiber optic cables, and network outlets. * Install CCTV cameras, Access Control Systems, Video Intercom Systems, Public Address (PA) Systems, SMATV, and Alarm Systems. * Install cable trays, trunking, conduits, GI/PVC conduits, and other cable containment systems. * Perform cable pulling, dressing, labeling, and termination for ELV systems. * Install and terminate patch panels, network racks, cabinets, and associated accessories. * Conduct cable testing using Fluke tester and fiber optic testing equipment. * Read and interpret ELV shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and project specifications. * Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other MEP trades to ensure smooth project execution. * Troubleshoot and rectify faults during installation, testing, and commissioning. * Ensure all installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards. * Maintain tools, test instruments, and work areas in a safe and organized condition. * Follow site safety procedures and company HSE requirements. Requirements * Minimum **3–5 years** of experience as an ELV Technician in building construction or fit\-out projects. * Proven experience in the installation of: * Structured Cabling (Cat6/Cat6A) * Fiber Optic (FO) Cable Installation and Termination * CCTV Systems * Access Control Systems * Public Address (PA) Systems * Video Intercom Systems * SMATV Systems * Cable Trays, Trunking, and Conduits * Network Racks, Patch Panels, and Cabinet Installation * Experience in cable pulling, termination, testing, and commissioning. * Ability to read and understand ELV shop drawings and coordinated drawings. * Knowledge of Fluke cable testing and basic fiber optic testing is preferred. * Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. * Knowledge of site safety requirements and quality standards.
