Monitor and supervise welding activities per approved procedures Job Summary We are looking for an experienced **Mechanical Foreman** to supervise fabrication, installation, welding, and material control activities for power transmission and substation projects. Key Responsibilities * Supervise **steel fabrication** and installation activities. * Coordinate **cable tray installation** and support installation works. * Supervise fabrication and installation of equipment and structural supports. * Monitor and supervise welding activities in accordance with approved procedures. * Ensure fabrication and installation works comply with drawings and project specifications. * Control and monitor materials, tools, and equipment required for site activities. * Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, QA/QC, and other site teams. * Monitor manpower and daily work progress. * Ensure safe working practices and proper housekeeping at the worksite. Requirements * Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering/Fabrication or a related field is preferred. * **Minimum 8 years of relevant experience** as a Mechanical Foreman. * Strong experience in steel fabrication and support fabrication. * Experience supervising cable tray installation. * Good knowledge of welding activities and supervision. * Experience in material control and site coordination. * Ability to read and interpret fabrication and installation drawings. * GCC/Qatar experience in construction, substation, or industrial projects will be an advantage.
