Summary: This role involves comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of various refrigeration and cooling systems. Highlights: 1. Service and repair cold rooms, freezers, and commercial units Key Duties \& Responsibilities * Carry out **preventive and corrective maintenance** of refrigeration and cooling systems. * Diagnose and troubleshoot **refrigeration system faults**, including electrical and mechanical issues. * Service and repair **cold rooms, freezers, display chillers, walk\-in coolers, and commercial refrigeration units**. * Check and maintain **compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, thermostats, and refrigeration controls**. * Perform **refrigerant charging, recovery, leak detection, and pressure testing** as required. * Troubleshoot electrical components such as **contactors, relays, capacitors, overloads, motors, and control circuits**. * Monitor system operating pressures, temperatures, and overall performance. * Replace defective components and ensure systems are restored to proper operating condition. * Conduct routine inspections and identify potential equipment failures before breakdowns occur. * Maintain accurate **maintenance reports, service records, and checklists**. * Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with **HSE and company procedures**. * Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance technicians to complete work orders efficiently. * Respond to emergency breakdowns and attend service calls as required. * Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good and safe condition. Qualifications \& Experience * **ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration \& Air Conditioning, HVAC, or a related field is mandatory. (MOFA Attested)** * Minimum **5 years of relevant experience** in refrigeration maintenance. * Experience in **commercial/industrial refrigeration systems** is preferred. * Good knowledge of refrigeration principles, electrical controls, and troubleshooting. * Ability to read basic **electrical wiring diagrams and refrigeration circuit diagrams**. * Qatar/GCC maintenance experience will be an advantage. * **Valid Qatar driving license** is an advantage. * Candidates available in **Qatar and ready to join immediately** are preferred.
