Ensure compliance with safety and company policies **We are Hiring\- Storekeeper** **Location\-Qatar** **Experience\- 4\-6 years in MEP** **Job description:** **Inventory Management**: * Maintain accurate records of stock and inventory levels for MEP materials, tools, and equipment. * Conduct periodic stock checks and reconcile with records. * Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the procurement team. **Material Handling**: * Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials for quality and quantity. * Safely store materials according to specifications and ensure proper labeling. * Issue materials and tools as per project requirements and maintain usage logs. **Coordination**: * Coordinate with site supervisors and engineers for timely delivery of materials. * Liaise with suppliers and vendors for returns, replacements, and pending deliveries. **Record\-Keeping**: * Maintain detailed records of purchases, transfers, and material usage. * Prepare reports on stock levels, usage trends, and discrepancies. **Compliance**: * Ensure the store is compliant with safety, security, and cleanliness standards. * Follow company policies regarding procurement and storage. **Maintenance**: * Ensure all tools and equipment are in working condition. * Arrange for repairs and calibration of equipment as necessary. **Key Skills and Competencies:** * Knowledge of MEP materials and equipment. * Strong organizational and record\-keeping skills. * Proficiency in inventory management software. * Ability to handle and resolve discrepancies in inventory. * Attention to detail and proactive problem\-solving skills. * Effective communication and coordination abilities. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree preferred. * 4\+ years of experience in inventory management or as a storekeeper, preferably in the MEP or construction sector. * Familiarity with ERP systems or inventory management tools. * Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards. **Work Environment:** * Primarily warehouse or storage facility\-based at project sites within Qatar. * Physically demanding at times, involving lifting and moving of materials.
