Summary: The Storekeeper is responsible for the comprehensive management of materials, tools, and chemicals for swimming pool construction and maintenance, ensuring proper storage, accurate records, and timely availability. Highlights: 1. Oversee receipt, inspection, and storage of essential materials. 2. Maintain accurate inventory control and stock records. 3. Ensure proper management of swimming pool-related materials. **Job Purpose** The Storekeeper is responsible for the receipt, inspection, storage, inventory control, issuance, and proper documentation of materials, spare parts, tools, chemicals, and equipment used for swimming pool construction and maintenance activities. The position ensures that all materials are properly stored, accurately recorded, readily available when required, and managed in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** * Receive and inspect incoming materials, equipment, spare parts, tools, and consumables. * Verify delivered materials against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Notes, and invoices. * Check quantity, specifications, condition, and quality of materials upon receipt. * Properly label, categorize, and store all materials in designated locations. * Maintain accurate stock records and inventory registers. * Issue materials to technicians, supervisors, and project teams against approved Material Requisitions/Store Requests. * Monitor stock levels and prepare replenishment requests for fast\-moving and critical items. * Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies. * Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels for frequently used materials. * Identify slow\-moving, obsolete, damaged, or expired materials and report them to management. * Maintain proper inventory control of swimming pool\-related materials, including, Pool pumps and motors, Filters and filtration equipment, Chlorinators and dosing pumps, Valves, fittings, pipes, and plumbing accessories, PVC/UPVC pipes and fittings, Pool lights and electrical accessories, Skimmers, drains, grilles, and return fittings, Pool cleaning equipment and accessories, Water testing equipment and consumables. * Coordinate with the Maintenance/Operations team regarding replacement or repair of damaged tools. * Prepare and Maintain records in Accurate System. * Ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. * Responsible for exercise due diligence towards health and safety of self \& others in the organization. * Responsible to comply with the applicable health \& safety procedures, instruction, requirements, laws, regulations from customers, regulatory and statutory bodies. * Responsible for reporting to his/her supervisors’ occurrence’s, events and acts that may affect health, safety and company reputation. * Performs any other related duties and responsibilities as required or, assigned. **Preferred Candidate Profile:** · 3–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in swimming pool construction, maintenance, MEP, construction, or facility management. · Experience in managing pool chemicals and maintenance consumables is highly desirable. · Diploma, ITI, or relevant technical/warehouse qualification preferred.
