Training and coaching team members and managers on Agile and Scrum concepts. **Job Summary** A Scrum Master is responsible for leading and facilitating the implementation of the **Scrum** framework and **Agile** methodologies within product or software development teams, ensuring improved collaboration, increased productivity, and timely achievement of project goals. The role also involves removing team impediments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence to Agile practices and organizational policies. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Lead and facilitate the implementation of the **Scrum** framework and **Agile** principles within teams. * Organize and manage Scrum events, including: * Daily Stand-up * Sprint Planning * Sprint Review * Sprint Retrospective * Remove impediments affecting team performance to ensure efficient workflow. * Support the development team in applying best Agile practices and achieving sprint goals. * Collaborate with the **Product Owner** to manage and refine the **Product Backlog**, and prioritize work items. * Monitor performance metrics such as **Velocity** and **Burndown Chart**, and analyze team performance. * Enhance communication and coordination among teams and stakeholders. * Train and coach team members and managers on Agile and Scrum concepts. * Support continuous process improvement and implementation of lessons learned. * Prepare and submit project progress reports to management. * Ensure compliance with organizational policies, quality standards, and project management practices. **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. * Minimum of **3–5 years** of experience working with **Agile/Scrum** methodologies, including hands-on experience as a Scrum Master. * Experience in software development environments or digital transformation projects is preferred. * Professional certification is preferred, such as one of the following: * **Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)** * **Professional Scrum Master (PSM I or PSM II)** * **SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)** * **ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP)** **Required Skills** * Advanced knowledge of **Agile** methodologies and the **Scrum** framework. * Strong facilitation and meeting management skills. * Ability to remove impediments and motivate teams. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to manage priorities and operate effectively in a fast-changing environment. * Experience using project management tools such as **Jira**, **Azure DevOps**, **Trello**, or equivalent. * Strong analytical skills for tracking performance metrics and preparing reports. * Leadership skills in coaching and mentoring. * Proficiency in **Microsoft Office** applications. * Fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written. **Work Environment** * Work within software development teams, IT departments, or digital transformation units. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, quality assurance teams, and product managers. * The position may require involvement in multiple projects simultaneously within an Agile-based environment. **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Sprint Goal Achievement rate. * Task completion speed and improvement in team **Velocity**. * Reduction in impediments and delays in work execution. * Completion rate of **Product Backlog** items according to priority. * Team and stakeholder satisfaction level. * Improvement in delivery quality and reduction in software defects. * Adherence to project timelines. * Promotion of Agile adoption and continuous improvement across the organization.
