You will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that aligns with the creative vision and brand guidelines. Your work will involve editing video content, enhancing audio, adding effects and graphics, and collaborating with the production team to deliver high\-quality videos that captivate audiences . The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of visual storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency in industry\-standard editing software. **Key Responsibilities** * **Editing \& Assembly:** Reviewing raw footage and selecting the best takes to create a smooth sequence that tells a compelling story. This includes cutting, trimming, and splicing clips . * **Post\-Production:** Enhancing the visual and audio quality of the project. This involves color correction and grading, adjusting lighting, syncing audio, and integrating music, dialogue, and sound effects . * **Graphics \& Effects:** Creating and adding title cards, lower thirds, motion graphics, and visual effects (VFX) to improve viewer experience and communicate information effectively . * **Collaboration:** Working closely with directors, producers, and other creative team members to understand project objectives and implement feedback to achieve the desired outcome . * **Project Management:** Organizing and managing media assets, project files, and archives. Ensuring deliverables are exported in the correct formats for various platforms, such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram . * **Quality Control:** Reviewing the final product to ensure it is free of errors, meets brand guidelines, and maintains high production standards . **Required Skills \& Qualifications** * **Technical Proficiency:** Expert\-level knowledge of Non\-Linear Editing (NLE) software like **Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve**. Familiarity with motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects is a significant plus . * **Creative \& Storytelling Skills:** A strong sense of pacing, timing, and visual flow. The ability to craft a compelling narrative from raw footage is essential . * **Soft Skills:** Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Editors must also be able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines . * **Platform Knowledge:** Understanding of video formats, codecs, and delivery specifications for different platforms, including social media (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and broadcast . **Education \& Experience** While a formal degree is not always required, many employers prefer candidates with a background in **film studies, media production, communications, or a related field** . More important than formal education is a **strong portfolio or demo reel** that demonstrates a range of editing styles and project types .
