We are seeking a detail\-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our growing team and support the company's financial operations. Job Summary The Accountant will be responsible for managing day\-to\-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in the construction, interior design, or fit\-out industry. Key Responsibilities * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. * Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. * Reconcile bank statements and company accounts. * Process invoices, payments, and expense reports. * Monitor project costs and assist with budget tracking. * Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations. * Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursements. * Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits. * Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records. * Support management with financial analysis and forecasting. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum 3 years of accounting experience. * Experience in the interior fit\-out, construction, or contracting industry is preferred. * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. * Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles. * Knowledge of VAT and local financial regulations. * Excellent organizational and time\-management skills. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications * Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage. * Experience with ERP systems and project accounting. * Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
