**Job Description:**
The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for the efficient management and operation of the company’s vehicle fleet, ensuring compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. This role involves overseeing vehicle maintenance, supervising drivers, optimizing fuel usage, and implementing cost\-effective strategies to enhance fleet performance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Ø Ensure strict adherence to company policies regarding vehicle maintenance, accident prevention, and fuel efficiency.
Ø Maintain safety standards for drivers and passengers.
Ø Conduct regular inspections of fleet vehicles to ensure they are in safe and roadworthy condition.
Ø Ensure drivers are following the daily vehicle checklist and reporting any irregularities promptly.
Ø Follow up and ensure timely renewal of yearly road permit licenses for all fleet vehicles.
Ø Follow up and ensure timely renewal of yearly insurance for all fleet vehicles.
Ø Maintain and regularly update the fleet master database and ensure all documentation is accurately recorded in the system.
Ø Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing, repairs, inspections, licensing, and fuel usage.
Ø Supervise daily activities at the garage and workshop, ensuring smooth operations and proper allocation of tasks.
Ø Oversee and manage mechanics and workshop staff, ensuring maintenance and repairs are completed efficiently and up to standard.
Ø Develop and implement procedures for drivers’ performance evaluations and continuous improvement.
Ø Review safety and incident reports to identify trends and implement corrective measures.
Ø Train new drivers on safety protocols, company vehicle policies.
Ø Manage the procurement, registration, and licensing of all company vehicles.
Ø Develop strategies to reduce fleet costs and maximize operational efficiency.
Ø Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing, repairs, inspections, and fuel usage.
Ø Ensure compliance with Ministry of Interior (MOI) and Department of Transport regulations.
Ø Schedule routine vehicle maintenance to ensure fleet reliability and operational readiness.
Ø Enforce maintenance timelines to minimize downtime and maintain delivery schedules.
Ø Monitor and evaluate driver’s behavior to ensure high standards of performance and customer service.
Ø Analyze operational data to identify areas for improved efficiency and cost reduction.
Ø Utilize GPS tracking systems for real\-time monitoring of driver activity and vehicle locations.
Ø Update service logs with information on parts, labor, and customer requests.
Pay: QAR5,000\.00 \- QAR6,000\.00 per month
