**Position Title:** Port Pilot
**Purpose of the Role:**
To provide safe, efficient, and professional pilotage services for vessels entering, maneuvering within, and departing port limits, ensuring compliance with applicable maritime regulations, port procedures, and international safety standards.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in marine science with Second Officer Certificate, or
* Maritime Diploma with Chief Officer Certificate.
**Minimum Experience:**
* At least 7 years of marine pilotage experience in recognized international ports.
* Demonstrated experience handling and piloting a wide range of vessel types and sizes.
**Required Competencies:**
* Strong knowledge of IMO regulations, Flag State requirements, and port operational procedures.
* Excellent ship\-handling and navigational skills.
* Ability to assess risks and respond effectively to emergencies.
* Strong communication and coordination skills.
* Proficiency in modern marine navigation and communication systems.
* Valid GMDSS Certificate.
* Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
**Language Requirements:**
* Fluent in English is a must (spoken and written).
**Age Requirement:**
* Maximum age: 40 years.
Pay: Up to QAR6,000\.00 per month
