Monitor staff appearance and attire, correcting any lapses. Communicate with guests, other employees, or departments to ensure guest needs are met. Attempt to accommodate all special banquet requirements. Set up banquet rooms, maintain cleanliness, and properly arrange furniture/equipment. Inspect and ensure cleanliness, elegance, and compliance with brand and company standards for table setups; resolve any issues. Document all relevant information in the shift log. Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, enforcing disciplinary policies, motivating, and mentoring staff. Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers; unite and support one another to achieve common goals. Follow and implement all chain safety policies and procedures; report maintenance issues, accident hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete required safety training and obtain necessary certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Respect confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Support all colleagues and treat them with dignity and respect. Support the team in achieving common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds (22.7 kg) unassisted. Assist in moving, lifting, carrying, transporting, and placing objects weighing over 75 pounds (34 kg). Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout an entire shift. Read and visually verify information in various formats (e.g., small print). Input, rotate, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights requiring excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Reach overhead and below knee level, including bending, twisting, pulling, and squatting. Navigate sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces. Climb stairs and service ramps. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak to others using clear, appropriate, and professional language; answer telephones using proper etiquette. Listen and respond appropriately to guest concerns and those of other employees. Use clear and courteous language in all communications. Perform all other tasks assigned by supervisors that are consistent with this position. QUALIFICATIONS RECOMMENDED Education:High school diploma or equivalent. Related work experience:At least 1 year of related work experience. Supervisory experience:At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
