Promote a strong safety culture among employees and subcontractors HSE Officer – Oil \& Gas **Position:** HSE Officer **Vacancies:** As Required **Industry:** Oil \& Gas **Location:** Qatar Job Description We are seeking an experienced **HSE Officer** with a minimum of **5 years of HSE construction experience**, preferably within Oil \& Gas projects, to ensure a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible working environment. Key Responsibilities * Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and project requirements. * Conduct regular site inspections and identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe practices. * Implement and monitor HSE procedures and safe working practices. * Conduct **toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness sessions**. * Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with site safety requirements. * Monitor high\-risk activities, including **hot work, lifting operations, work at height, confined space, and excavation**. * Assist in preparing and reviewing **Risk Assessments, JSA/JHA, and Method Statements**. * Monitor **Permit to Work (PTW)** requirements and ensure compliance. * Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe acts, and prepare HSE reports. * Monitor emergency preparedness and ensure emergency procedures are followed. * Monitor housekeeping, waste management, and environmental requirements. * Coordinate with project management, supervisors, subcontractors, and client HSE representatives. * Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, checklists, and safety documentation. * Support HSE audits, inspections, and client requirements. * Promote a strong safety culture among employees and subcontractors. Requirements * Minimum **5 years of HSE construction experience**. * **NEBOSH certification completed on or before 2022 is mandatory**. * **Graduate / Bachelor’s Degree** in any relevant discipline. * Good knowledge of construction and Oil \& Gas HSE standards and procedures. * Good knowledge of **PTW, Risk Assessment, JSA/JHA, toolbox talks, and incident reporting**. * Experience conducting site inspections and safety audits. * **Good communication and interpersonal skills**. * Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a site environment. * **Valid Qatar ID / Free Visa is preferred.** * Qatar/GCC Oil \& Gas or construction project experience is an advantage. **Candidates meeting the above requirements are encouraged to apply.** Application Question(s): * Will you be able to join Immediately if get hired?
