Developing and implementing real estate project strategies **Job Description** We are seeking a **Real Estate Development Director** with proven leadership experience in real estate development and project management, to oversee all development phases—from feasibility studies and land acquisition, through planning, design, and construction, to final project handover. The candidate will be responsible for leading project teams; managing relationships with investors, consultants, contractors, and government authorities; and ensuring delivery of quality, budget, and schedule targets in alignment with company strategy. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and implement real estate development strategies aligned with corporate objectives. * Identify and evaluate real estate investment opportunities, and conduct financial and technical feasibility studies. * Oversee all project development phases—from planning to final handover. * Manage land acquisition processes and negotiate deals and contracts. * Coordinate with consultants, engineers, contractors, and government authorities to obtain required approvals and permits. * Prepare and monitor budgets, schedules, and implementation plans, ensuring strict adherence. * Identify and manage project-related risks, and develop mitigation plans. * Ensure compliance with Qatar’s building codes, urban planning regulations, and applicable laws. * Monitor construction quality and ensure adherence to technical specifications and standards. * Prepare periodic reports for senior management on project progress and key performance indicators (KPIs). * Lead project teams, develop competencies, and foster a high-performance and excellence-oriented culture. * Build and strengthen relationships with investors, partners, clients, and other stakeholders. **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Real Estate Development, Business Administration, or a related field. * A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Project Management, or Real Estate Development is preferred. * Minimum of **12 years** of experience in real estate development or real estate project management, including at least **5 years** in a leadership role. * Experience managing residential, commercial, mixed-use, or infrastructure projects. * Strong knowledge of project management, feasibility analysis, contract management, and financial planning. * Familiarity with Qatar’s real estate regulations, building codes, and urban development frameworks. * Professional certifications such as **PMP**, **RICS**, or equivalent are preferred. * Proficiency in **Microsoft Office**, **AutoCAD**, and **Primavera P6** or **MS Project**. * Full professional fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written. **Required Skills** * Leadership and team management skills. * Strategic thinking and investment opportunity analysis. * Strong negotiation and contract management skills. * Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and risks. * Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship-building skills. * Decision-making and problem-solving capability. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. **Benefits** Annual Salary: QAR٤١٠‏٠٠٠‎.٠٠ per year Work Location: On-site
