Mentor and inspire creative professionals **Job Summary:** French Manga Studio Creative Media W.L.L. is seeking an imaginative, commercially aware, and experienced Creative Director to lead our creative vision and content production in Doha, Qatar. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative leader with a passion for manga, illustration, animation, visual storytelling, branding, and digital media. You will guide multidisciplinary creative teams, shape original concepts, maintain consistent artistic standards, and oversee projects from initial idea through final delivery. We welcome candidates from animation studios, publishing, advertising, gaming, film, digital media, branding, illustration, or related creative industries. **What you'll do:** * Define and lead the studio’s overall creative vision and visual direction * Develop original concepts for manga, illustration, animation, branded content, and digital media * Lead, mentor, and inspire illustrators, designers, animators, writers, and other creative professionals * Review creative work and provide clear, constructive direction throughout production * Ensure all projects meet agreed artistic, brand, quality, budget, and delivery standards * Oversee story development, character design, visual identity, layouts, and promotional materials * Translate client and business objectives into strong creative concepts and campaigns * Present creative proposals, storyboards, artwork, and project ideas to clients and senior stakeholders * Collaborate with production, marketing, commercial, and digital teams * Manage creative priorities, resources, schedules, and project workloads * Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and professional development of creative team members * Maintain consistent brand and artistic standards across print, digital, social, and multimedia channels * Monitor creative, entertainment, design, and audience trends * Identify opportunities for new intellectual property, content formats, and commercial partnerships * Build a collaborative studio culture that encourages originality and continuous improvement **Requirements:** * Experience in creative direction, art direction, design leadership, animation, publishing, or digital media * A strong portfolio demonstrating creative leadership and high\-quality visual work * Experience guiding multidisciplinary creative teams or managing complex creative projects * Good understanding of visual storytelling, composition, branding, and content development * Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder\-management skills * Ability to balance creative ambition with deadlines, budgets, and commercial objectives * Comfortable reviewing concepts, artwork, storyboards, designs, and production materials * Knowledge of manga, comics, animation, gaming, or illustrated entertainment is beneficial * Familiarity with common design, illustration, or creative production software is advantageous * Relevant creative education or professional qualifications are preferred but not essential * Equivalent professional experience and a strong portfolio will be considered **Why work with us:** * Competitive monthly salary with opportunities for performance recognition * Senior creative leadership responsibility within a growing media studio * Opportunity to shape original manga, animation, and digital content * Collaborative, imaginative, and multicultural working environment * Career development and exposure to varied creative projects * Meaningful influence over studio identity, artistic standards, and future productions * Stable full\-time employment with significant creative responsibility **About the Company:** French Manga Studio Creative Media W.L.L. is a creative media company specialising in manga\-inspired storytelling, illustration, animation, visual design, and digital content.
