Valiant Integrated Services is actively seeking Pashto/Dari linguists to assist with the Department of State's Afghan Relocation Effort Program (CARE) Camp As Sayliyah (CAS) Translator/Linguist Program (CAST/L). **RESPONSIBILITIES:** As a linguist, you will be providing translation and interpretation services for Afghan refugees, as well as for the US Department of State and military officials. * *Valiant Integrated Services is an employer who hires in accordance with applicable state and federal law. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment in compliance with those laws.* **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** * US Citizen * Fluent in Pashto/Dari * Score at least a 3/3/3/3 speaking, listening, reading, and writing (SLRW) * 3 years of experience in translation, and/or interpretation * Willing and able to deploy to Qatar * Ability to function as a professional team member, making informed, accurate, and timely decisions as needed * Possess basic computer and typing skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute **DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:** * Secret or higher security clearance * Prior experience working with refugees * Experience in the medical field; strong knowledge of medical terminology * Prior experience working for the Department of State
