Assist and support management and supervisors in handling and resolving human resources issues. Oversee all hiring and recruitment processes to ensure compliance with local, regional, and national laws as well as company policies and standards. Inform HR management of employee relations issues. Respond to employee and management inquiries, requests, and concerns regarding company and HR department programs, policies, and procedures. Inform employees about employer-employee relations, employee activities, and personnel programs and policies. Verify and ensure the accuracy and updating of all personnel records and files (e.g., interview documents, I\-9\). Participate in planning, managing, and coordinating the logistics of annual employee surveys. Answer telephone calls and take messages. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Monitor and adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management. Maintain confidentiality of hotel-related information. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to brand standards. Use clear, professional language in all communications; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop positive and productive working relationships with colleagues; work together and support each other to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to other employees' concerns. Access and retrieve job-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 23 kilograms independently. Perform all other duties requested by supervisors that are reasonably related to the job. QUALIFICATIONS RECOMMENDED Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience. Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
