Maintain high standards of functionality and presentation **Job Brief:** The Multi\-Skilled MEP Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within a VIP retail environment. The role requires delivering high\-quality maintenance services, ensuring minimal disruption to retail operations, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, functionality, and presentation in line with client expectations and company standards. **Key Responsibilities** **1\. Preventive \& Corrective Maintenance** * Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) * Carry out corrective maintenance and emergency repairs promptly * Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and within design parameters **2\. Electrical Systems** * Inspect, maintain, and repair lighting systems, DBs, sockets, and wiring * Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore systems with minimal downtime * Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards **3\. Mechanical \& HVAC Systems** * Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems (FCUs, AHUs, split units) * Monitor temperature and ventilation to meet VIP retail standards * Ensure proper functioning of exhaust and fresh air systems **4\. Plumbing Systems** * Maintain water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems * Detect and repair leaks, blockages, and fixture issues * Ensure hygiene and proper functionality of all plumbing installations **5\. Client Interaction \& Service Excellence** * Respond to client requests promptly and professionally * Maintain a high level of customer service suitable for VIP environments * Coordinate with store management to minimize disruption during maintenance **6\. Inspection \& Reporting** * Conduct routine inspections and log findings * Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports * Report any major issues or risks to the supervisor **7\. Health, Safety \& Compliance** * Follow all HSE policies and procedures * Use appropriate PPE and ensure safe working practices * Ensure compliance with local regulations and client standards **8\. Coordination \& Support** * Coordinate with other technicians and subcontractors when required * Support minor civil works if needed (basic repairs, fittings) * Assist in audits and inspections **Job Requirements** **Qualifications** * Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical / Electrical / MEP Engineering or equivalent **Experience** * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MEP maintenance * Experience in retail, commercial, or VIP/high\-end facilities is preferred * FM (Facility Management) background is highly desirable **Technical Skills** * Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems * Ability to troubleshoot and repair multi\-disciplinary systems * Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and tools **Soft Skills** * Good communication and customer service skills * Professional appearance and behavior (VIP environment) * Ability to work independently and under pressure * Attention to detail and problem\-solving skills **Other Requirements** * Ability to work flexible shifts if required * Basic English communication (Arabic is an advantage) * Physically fit and capable of handling technical work **Key Competencies** * Multi\-skilling across MEP disciplines * Customer focus and service excellence * Reliability and accountability * Safety awareness Application Question(s): * Are you currently based in Qatar? * Do you hold a valid QID? * Do you hold a valid Qatari driving license? * Can you obtain an NOC? * How many years of work experience do you have in a similar role? * What is your current total salary package? * What is your availability to join?
