Prepares and presents safety presentations and reports **Job Description** The Safety Officer shall be responsible for the safety of man and machine. He shall study risk assessments at the worksite and implement measures to avoid health, fire, safety and environmental hazards. He shall conduct periodic safety training courses for the Contractor’s staff and submit the records to Kahramaa periodically. He shall conduct random on\-the\-spot safety checks of the Contractor’s staff and ensure that all persons working at any worksite comply with Kahramaa safety rules and regulations. He shall prepare and present relevant safety presentations and reports, including risk assessment forms, to Kahramaa. **Qualification and Experience** * Diploma in Health, Safety and Environment from a recognized institution, university or college acceptable to Kahramaa. * Minimum three years of experience as a Certified Safety Officer in an electrical power utility or construction company. * Experience in a multinational working environment involving personnel from different countries, languages, cultures and skill levels. * Ability to communicate effectively with site staff. * Must receive authorization from the Kahramaa HSE Department.
