Meet with group coordinators or hosts prior to check-in, conduct introductions, and ensure all preparations are confirmed. Read and analyze the banquet order for the event to gather guest information, determine appropriate setup, timeline, specific guest requirements, buffets, food stations, etc. Attend to and strive to fulfill all special banquet preparations for the event. Track special banquet preparations for the event to ensure completion.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure both uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional. Maintain confidentiality of company-owned information; protect company assets. Support all coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support the team in achieving common goals. Meet quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds (11.25 kg) or equivalent without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout the entire work shift. Read and visually verify information in various formats (e.g., small print). Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machinery (e.g., to identify defects). Reach above head and below knees, including bending, twisting waist, pulling, and stooping. Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Navigate sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces and staircases. Climb up and down staircases and/or service ramps. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
DESIRABLE SKILLS
Education:High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
