




Summary: Responsible for inspecting various equipment in assigned plants and facilities, conducting tests, and preparing detailed inspection reports with findings and recommendations. Highlights: 1. Experience in inspection and testing within oil and gas or petrochemical plants 2. Certification in painting inspection is a must 3. Knowledge of international codes for surface preparation and coating Primary Purpose of the Job: Responsible for inspection of equipment including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, valves and piping system in the assigned plants/facilities (Including the cooling water, desalination water, wastewater treatment and other assigned facilities). The incumbent carries out required testing using the required instrument, tools and equipment and prepare inspection reports with all the findings, abnormalities and recommendations. Required Experience and Skills: * 6 years’ experience (accredited) in inspection and testing work and in an oil and gas or petrochemical plant. * A qualification in painting inspection is a must. Minimum (B.G.A.S coating inspector Certificate of NACE coating inspector Certificate or other Internationally recognizes equivalent certification). * Knowledge in International code and standards related to surface preparation and coating and painting. * Experience in GRP piping inspection is highly preferred. * Computer literate in appropriate software, and experience in data analysis and interpretation. * Good communication/interpersonal/organizational skills * Good written and spoken in English, Knowledge of Arabic will be advantage. Educational Qualifications: Completion of Secondary (12 years) education, plus 3 years Diploma course in Mechanical Engineering completed. A degree in Engineering Discipline is preferred.
