Oversee efficient kitchen operations and inventory management We have a restaurant and need Kitchen Supervisor for our restaurant. The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the restaurant's quality standards. The Kitchen Supervisor manages kitchen staff, maintains inventory, enforces hygiene and food safety regulations, and ensures smooth kitchen operations to deliver excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen staff. * Assign duties and monitor employee performance to ensure efficient workflow. * Ensure all food is prepared according to approved recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards. * Monitor food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain consistency. * Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health regulations. * Conduct regular inspections of kitchen cleanliness, equipment, and food storage areas. * Monitor stock levels and coordinate the ordering of food, beverages, packaging, and kitchen supplies. * Verify proper storage of food items using FIFO (First\-In, First\-Out) and proper temperature controls. * Minimize food waste and control kitchen costs. * Train, coach, and guide kitchen employees on food preparation techniques, hygiene standards, and company procedures. * Prepare staff schedules and manage shift assignments. * Monitor attendance, punctuality, and discipline of kitchen staff. * Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager regarding operational issues and staffing requirements. * Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report maintenance requirements promptly. * Investigate and resolve kitchen\-related operational issues. * Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by assisting in food preparation when required. * Maintain accurate inventory and stock records. * Ensure compliance with company policies, local labor laws, and health and safety regulations. * Perform any other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Operations Manager. Qualifications: * Diploma or equivalent qualification in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred. * Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant, café, or fast\-food operation. * Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation processes. * Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP or equivalent certification is an advantage). * Experience in inventory management and cost control. * Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast\-paced environment.
