Coordinate material availability for production and projects. **Job Summary** The Store Keeper is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, preservation, issuance, and inventory control of all materials, tools, equipment, and consumables required for fabrication, construction, and installation activities. The role ensures accurate inventory records, proper material traceability, timely availability of materials for production and project sites, and compliance with company procedures. Key ResponsibilitiesMaterial Receipt \& Inspection * Receive materials and verify quantities, specifications, and condition against purchase orders, delivery notes, and packing lists. * Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies and coordinate with Procurement for resolution. * Ensure all received materials are properly identified, tagged, and stored. Inventory Control * Maintain accurate inventory records using the company's ERP or inventory management system. * Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests to maintain optimum inventory. * Perform daily stock updates and ensure real\-time inventory accuracy. * Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile inventory variances. * Monitor slow\-moving, excess, obsolete, and damaged materials and report findings. Material Issuance * Issue materials only against approved Material Requisition Forms (MRFs) or authorized requests. * Maintain complete records of material movements, transfers, returns, and consumption. * Coordinate timely material delivery to fabrication workshops and project sites to avoid work delays. Warehouse Operations * Organize warehouse storage to ensure safe, efficient, and easily accessible material handling. * Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) or other applicable inventory control methods. * Maintain proper storage conditions for structural steel, electrical items, plumbing materials, hardware, consumables, tools, and equipment. * Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Documentation \& Reporting * Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), Material Issue Notes (MINs), Stock Transfer Notes (STNs), and inventory reports. * Maintain complete documentation for material receipts, issues, returns, and transfers. * Support inventory audits by providing accurate records and reconciliation reports. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory status reports. Coordination * Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Projects, QA/QC, and Finance departments to ensure material availability. * Follow up on pending deliveries and update stakeholders on material status. * Assist in planning material storage and distribution for ongoing projects. Compliance \& Safety * Ensure compliance with company policies for material handling, storage, and inventory management. * Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures within the warehouse. * Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive, valuable, and hazardous materials where applicable. Qualifications * Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, stores management, or material control within a contracting, fabrication, manufacturing, or construction environment. * Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or equivalent inventory management software. * Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations, and material traceability. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications. Required Skills * Knowledge of construction materials, steel, electrical, plumbing, mechanical items, tools, and industrial consumables. * Understanding of inventory management principles including FIFO, stock reconciliation, and cycle counting. * Strong organizational and record\-keeping skills. * Good communication and coordination abilities. * Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. **Food, Accommodation \& Transportation provided by company** Pay: QAR3,000\.00 \- QAR3,500\.00 per month Work Location: In person
