




Summary: Manage end-to-end project activities, including planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting, to ensure successful project delivery from initiation to completion. Highlights: 1. Contribute to continuous improvement in project planning procedures. Primary Purpose of the Job: Carry out end\-to\-end project management activities, including detailed planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, verification, and reporting, to ensure the successful delivery of assigned projects from initiation through to completion. Required Experience and Skills: * + Minimum of 12 years’ experience in project planning within the Oil \& Gas industry. + Preferably at least 5 years’ experience working with National Oil Companies (NOCs) and/or International Oil Companies (IOCs).**Project Planning \& Control** + Develop and maintain Project Master Plans and schedules across all project phases and stage gates throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation to close\-out. + Provide planning inputs to key deliverables, including the Project Execution Plan (PEP), Risk Management Plan, Risk Register, and Change Management Plan. + Plan and monitor project close\-out activities and support the preparation and finalization of project Close\-out Reports. + Perform comprehensive project planning functions, including scheduling, monitoring, forecasting, and progress reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis through management reports. + Maintain SAP Project Builder data to support group reporting and analysis.**Performance Monitoring \& Reporting** + Provide early warning signals and identify opportunities for proactive intervention through reports and collaboration with project teams to influence project outcomes positively. + Maintain and update the Integrated Resource Planning system aligned with Primavera Master Plans to forecast and allocate project resources effectively.**Tendering \& Contract Support** + Develop and integrate planning and scheduling requirements, progress measurement methodologies, and reporting instructions into tender documents (including administrative instructions and Contract Execution Plan appendices). + Provide inputs to other tender appendices, including Scope of Work, Payment Terms, Liquidated Damages (LD) milestones, and document review timelines.**Evaluation \& Compliance** + Participate as a key member of the Technical Evaluation Team to assess bidders’ proposals, ensuring compliance with tender requirements. This includes schedule analysis, validation of manpower allocations, review of resource histograms, and evaluation of progress measurement methodologies. + Review, validate, and endorse contractor\-submitted planning packages (execution schedules, recovery plans, resource plans, and reporting systems) to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and effective project control.**Contractor Performance Management** + Monitor contractor performance through time and progress variance analysis. + Review and validate contractor progress reports, identify deviations from agreed plans, and highlight areas of concern. + Recommend corrective actions and mitigation measures and conduct “what\-if” and schedule risk analyses to anticipate potential impacts.**Progress Measurement \& Budgeting** + Assess project progress to determine the value of work completed (VOWD) monthly for Service Entry Sheets (SES). + Verify reported progress in coordination with stakeholders. + Provide schedule inputs and progress forecasts for annual budgets, AFE preparation, revisions, and supplementary budgets. + Analyze schedule and progress variances to support budget variance reporting.**Change \& Claims Management** + Evaluate time impacts arising from scope changes, including Change Impact Notes and Work Change Requests (WCR). + Review and assess contractor Extension of Time (EoT) claims in accordance with international standards and time impact analysis methodologies.**Continuous Improvement** + Contribute to the development and implementation of project planning procedures and work instructions. Educational Qualifications: * B. Sc. or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline. * Certified PMP or equivalent certifications/memberships perferred.
