Supervise and mentor maintenance staff Job Summary JJ Heavy Machinery is seeking an experienced and results\-driven **Fleet Technical Manager** to oversee the maintenance, performance, and operational efficiency of our heavy equipment fleet. The successful candidate will lead fleet maintenance activities, ensure equipment reliability, and support safe and efficient operations across all projects. Key Responsibilities * Manage the maintenance, repair, and servicing of the company's heavy machinery and fleet. * Oversee daily fleet operations to maximize equipment availability and productivity. * Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime. * Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements for operational efficiency. * Coordinate with workshop personnel, operators, and management to ensure timely maintenance and repairs. * Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and service schedules. * Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations. * Manage maintenance budgets and control operational costs. * Supervise and mentor maintenance staff to achieve high performance and quality standards. Requirements * Minimum **5 years of experience** in fleet management, heavy equipment maintenance, or a related technical role. * Strong knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and fleet management practices. * Experience overseeing equipment operations and maintenance planning. * Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. * Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and make sound operational decisions. * Proficiency in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
