We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Project Engineer** to join our construction team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements and quality standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring construction projects. * Coordinate site activities with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders. * Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance. * Prepare and monitor project schedules, work programs, and progress reports. * Supervise site engineers and construction teams to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications. * Monitor project costs, material usage, and productivity to achieve budget targets. * Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely delivery to the project site. * Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues in collaboration with consultants and design teams. * Ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), local regulations, and company standards. * Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs), method statements, material submittals, and shop drawing submissions. * Attend project meetings and provide technical updates to management and clients. * Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work quality meets project requirements. * Ensure implementation of Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures. * Promote and enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies on site. * Prepare project documentation, including daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. * Support project handover activities, snagging, and project close\-out documentation. **Qualifications and Requirements:** * Bachelor's Degree in **Civil Engineering** or a related engineering discipline. * Minimum **5 years of relevant experience** in building construction projects, preferably in Qatar or the GCC. * Strong knowledge of construction methods, project coordination, and site management. * Familiarity with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and local authority requirements. * Proficiency in **AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project**. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. * UPDA/MME Engineering Registration is an advantage. * Valid Qatar Driving License is an advantage. * Experience in commercial, residential, high\-rise, or mixed\-use building projects. * Excellent communication, coordination, and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project activities simultaneously.
