Coordinate with architectural, interior design, and MEP teams. **Technical Manager – Engineering Projects** **Location:** Doha, Qatar **Employment Type:** Full\-Time **Candidate Eligibility:** Local candidates currently residing in Qatar **About the Role** We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager – Engineering Projects to oversee the technical aspects of interior fit\-out, office furniture, and FF\&E projects. The role will focus on technical design coordination, shop drawings, furniture production, materials and finishes, MEP integration, quality control, vendor coordination, and site execution. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage and oversee FF\&E, office furniture, and interior fit\-out technical activities across projects. * Review and approve technical and execution drawings for office furniture and interior fit\-out works. * Prepare and review Shop Drawings, Joinery Details, and technical details. * Coordinate with Architectural and Interior Design teams to ensure design and technical integration. * Supervise furniture factory production and monitor quality throughout manufacturing stages. * Review and approve materials, finishes, wood, metal, upholstery, and other furniture components. * Coordinate with furniture manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors to ensure compliance with approved specifications. * Monitor FF\&E installation on\-site and ensure accurate execution in accordance with approved drawings. * Coordinate FF\&E elements with MEP systems within interior spaces. * Review quantities, technical specifications, and material requirements before execution. * Manage technical changes and minimize their impact on project quality and schedule. * Provide technical support to resolve furniture and interior fit\-out challenges. * Participate in snagging, inspection, and handover activities and ensure quality of final finishes. * Prepare technical reports covering work progress, quality, and technical issues. * Support technical evaluation and assessment of furniture suppliers and vendors. * Manage and supervise multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining consistent technical and quality standards. **Qualifications \& Experience** * Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, or Industrial Engineering (Furniture Design) from a recognized university. * Additional training in Furniture Design, Joinery, or Shop Drawing Details is preferred. * Project Management or Construction Management certification is advantageous. * 10–12\+ years of relevant experience in Interior Fit\-Out and Office Furniture Design \& Execution. * Proven experience preparing and reviewing Shop Drawings and Joinery Details. * Strong experience working on high\-end interior projects. * Experience dealing with furniture manufacturing factories, suppliers, and vendors. * Strong knowledge of furniture production processes. * Experience selecting and approving materials and finishes, including wood, metal, upholstery, and decorative finishes. * Strong understanding of MEP coordination within interior spaces. * Proven ability to coordinate between design and execution teams. * Qatar or GCC project experience is preferred. * Strong understanding of quality standards for interior fit\-out and furniture works. **Skills \& Competencies** * Strong expertise in FF\&E, furniture design, and interior fit\-out. * Excellent knowledge of furniture production and manufacturing processes. * Strong Shop Drawing and Joinery Detail preparation and review skills. * Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, and technical specifications. * Strong MEP coordination and technical problem\-solving abilities. * Excellent vendor, manufacturer, consultant, and contractor coordination skills. * Strong quality control and inspection capabilities. * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. * Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. **Ready to Join Our Team?** If you have proven expertise in FF\&E, furniture design and execution, interior fit\-out, shop drawings, joinery details, furniture production, and technical project coordination, we'd love to hear from you.
