Design and optimize enterprise-wide Data Privacy Management Programs Job Overview We are seeking a specialized Consultant with deep expertise in Data Privacy, Regulatory Compliance, and Information Governance. In this role, you will lead advisory engagements helping high\-profile regional and international clients navigate complex data protection landscapes. You will bridge the gap between technical data architectures and corporate governance—designing compliance frameworks, conducting privacy impact assessments, and steering organizations through local and international privacy regulations (such as the UAE Data Protection Law, GDPR, and regional equivalents). Key Responsibilities Privacy Advisory \& Strategy: Lead end\-to\-end consulting engagements for the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise\-wide Data Privacy Management Programs. Regulatory Compliance \& Gap Analysis: Conduct comprehensive compliance assessments and gap analyses against key data protection frameworks (e.g., UAE Data Protection Law, DIFC DPL, ADGM Data Protection Regulations, and GDPR). Data Mapping \& Lifecycle Management: Oversee cross\-border data flow mapping, inventories of Processing Activities (RoPA), and data classification exercises across complex corporate databases. Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs / DPIAs): Spearhead the execution of Privacy Impact Assessments for new digital initiatives, cloud migrations, database expansions, and AI/analytics deployments. Policy \& Framework Authoring: Translate complex legal and regulatory mandates into clear, operational policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), privacy notices, and internal governance frameworks. Incident \& Subject Rights Management: Advise client executive leadership on establishing robust Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) workflows and data breach notification protocols. Stakeholder \& Vendor Enablement: Partner directly with C\-suite executives, legal counsel, and IT/database administrators to embed privacy\-by\-design principles into everyday operations.Proposal \& Tender Support: Provide subject\-matter expertise during the scoping, drafting, and estimation phases of client proposals and strategic bids. Qualifications \& Experience Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of professional experience, with a heavy emphasis on management consulting, legal/regulatory compliance, or privacy program management within top\-tier advisory firms or corporate compliance departments. Certifications: Recognized privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPT, CIPM, or ISEB/BCS Practitioner in Data Protection) are strongly preferred. Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of data governance architectures, cybersecurity intersections (such as alignment with ISO 27001\), consent mechanisms, and third\-party vendor risk management. Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to interpret evolving regulatory statutes and deconstruct them intopractical, actionable structural remediations for corporate clients. Communication: Outstanding written, presentation, and client\-facing communication skills in English (Arabic bilingual capabilities are a strong plus).
