Work in a fast-paced environment with a positive team **Job Title:** Waiter / Barista **Department:** Operations **Reports To:** Shop Manager / Supervisor **Location:** Café Job Purpose To provide excellent customer service while efficiently preparing and serving beverages, food, and desserts in accordance with company standards, hygiene requirements, and operational procedures. Key Responsibilities **Customer Service** * Greet customers warmly and provide professional, friendly service. * Take customer orders accurately and process them through the POS system. * Serve food, beverages, and desserts promptly and correctly. * Respond to customer requests and complaints in a polite and professional manner. * Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction. **Duties** * Prepare coffee, tea, cold beverages, and other drinks according to company recipes and standards. * Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other beverage equipment. * Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and quality of all beverages. * Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, syrups, and other bar supplies. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and beverage preparation area. * Set up and maintain tables and service areas. * Deliver orders to customers accurately and efficiently. * Clear and clean tables promptly. * Assist with opening and closing duties. * Ensure menus, tables, chairs, and service areas are clean and properly arranged. Required Skills \& Qualifications * Previous experience as a **waiter, barista, or café/restaurant staff** is preferred. * Good communication and customer service skills. * Basic knowledge of coffee preparation is an advantage. * Ability to work under pressure in a fast\-paced environment. * Good teamwork and a positive attitude. * Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required. * Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.
