Investigate engineering and construction challenges and recommend solutions About the Role Nazigroup Engineering and Contracting Services provides civil construction, electromechanical contracting, MEP systems, industrial projects, maintenance and engineering project delivery services. We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to support the planning, coordination and execution of civil engineering and construction projects. The successful candidate will oversee technical activities, review engineering documentation and coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure work is delivered according to approved specifications, quality standards and project schedules. This role is suited to a technically capable civil engineering professional with strong project coordination skills and practical experience working on commercial, infrastructure or industrial construction projects. Key Responsibilities **Civil Engineering Coordination:** Coordinate civil and structural engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle. **Technical Review:** Review engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, method statements and technical submissions. **Site Supervision:** Monitor construction activities to ensure work complies with approved drawings, project specifications and quality requirements. **Project Planning:** Support the development of project schedules, construction programmes and resource plans. **Contractor Coordination:** Work closely with subcontractors and site teams to maintain efficient project execution. **Quality Control:** Monitor workmanship and materials and ensure identified quality issues are addressed promptly. **Technical Problem Solving:** Investigate engineering and construction challenges and recommend practical technical solutions. **Design Coordination:** Liaise with consultants, architects and other engineering disciplines to resolve design and coordination issues. **Progress Monitoring:** Track construction progress against project schedules and identify potential delays or risks. **Material Review:** Review material submissions and technical specifications to ensure suitability for project requirements. **Site Inspections:** Conduct regular site inspections and document observations, nonconformities and required corrective actions. **Health and Safety:** Support compliance with project health, safety and environmental requirements during construction activities. **Project Documentation:** Maintain accurate technical records, inspection reports, progress reports and engineering documentation. **Client Coordination:** Attend project and technical meetings with clients, consultants and other stakeholders. **Team Support:** Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, site engineers and other members of the project team. **Project Handover:** Support final inspections, snagging, documentation and project closeout activities. What We Are Looking For * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. * Minimum of 5 years of relevant civil engineering or construction experience. * Experience working on commercial, infrastructure, industrial or building construction projects. * Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation. * Experience with site supervision and construction project coordination. * Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures. * Familiarity with AutoCAD and relevant engineering software. * Strong technical and analytical problem\-solving skills. * Excellent organisational and project coordination abilities. * Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. * Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. * Arabic language skills are an advantage. * Professional engineering certification or membership is advantageous. الراتب المدفوع: QAR١٣٢٬٠٠٠٫٠٠ لكل عام موقع العمل: بشكل شخصي
