Summary:
Develop, refine, and produce high-quality roasted coffee while managing inventory, equipment, and quality control.

3. Manage green coffee inventory and roasting equipment
* Create, develop and refine roast profiles for different origins and blends
* Production roasting of filter and espresso coffee for wholesale and retail
* Perform regular cupping to evaluate quality of production and sample roasts andmaintain standards
* Manage green coffee inventory, sourcing coordination, and storage conditions
* Oversee quality control processes across roasting, packing and final output
* Supervise and maintain roasting and packing equipment, ensuring proper usage,operations and maintenance
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene
* Maintain accurate records of roast logs, profiles and production data in Artisan
* Support café operations when required (barista and internal training)
Application Question(s):
* Knowledge of roast profiling software (Roast Architect), Loring Smart Roaster,
Artisan Software, and Ikawa Sample Roaster
* Advanced sensory skills
* Ability to manage production schedules and workload efficiently

Experience:
* Roaster: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
* SCA Sensory certificate (Preferred)
* Roasting Class Certificate (Preferred)
