Support month-end and year-end closing processes We are seeking a detail\-oriented and experienced **Accountant** to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting audits and reconciliations. **The successful candidate must have strong hands\-on accounting experience in Qatar, with a solid understanding of local accounting practices, financial regulations, VAT compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.** Key Responsibilities * Manage day\-to\-day accounting transactions in compliance with company policies and accounting standards. * Perform bank, vendor, and account reconciliations accurately and on time. * Process journal entries, invoices, and payments in the accounting system. * Support month\-end and year\-end closing processes. * Prepare financial statements and reports as required. * Assist in coordinating and preparing for internal and external audits. * Ensure all financial records are maintained accurately and up to date. * Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Key Requirements * **Required to have strong accounting experience within Qatar**, with a thorough understanding of local accounting practices and financial regulations. * Strong ability to handle high workloads, pressure, and tight deadlines. * Solid experience in reconciliations, system\-based transaction execution, and supporting audit requirements. * Excellent attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and ability to work independently. * Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel). * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certification preferred).
