**Job Overview** We are seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods and materials throughout the supply chain, ensuring efficient warehouse distribution, and optimizing logistics processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and experience in supply chain management, transportation planning, and inventory control. **Duties** * Coordinate and oversee logistics operations, including shipping \& receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management. * Utilize transportation management systems to monitor shipments and ensure timely delivery. * Conduct data analysis to identify trends and areas for process improvement within the supply chain. * Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes. * Implement effective warehouse management practices to optimize space utilization and materials handling. * Develop demand planning strategies to align inventory levels with customer needs. * Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, freight costs, and supplier performance metrics. * Engage in root cause analysis to address logistical challenges and improve operational efficiency. * Support e\-commerce initiatives by ensuring timely order processing and fulfillment. * Utilize software tools such as Tableau, SQL, AS400, and ERP systems for data collection and reporting. **Qualifications** * Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field with a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics. * Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and materials management principles. * Strong negotiation skills with experience in vendor management and category management. * Proficient in data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets for decision\-making. * Knowledge of transportation management practices including freight handling, dispatching, and 3PL operations. * Experience with inventory control techniques, stocking procedures, and production planning methodologies. * Mechanical knowledge is a plus for understanding equipment used in logistics operations. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
