Experience with international building services design codes The Mechanical Engineer shall be responsible to develop sustainable building services on numerous projects including government institutions, commercial, residential, tall towers and mixed use developments. This position requires a qualified Engineer with good knowledge of ventilation, air conditioning systems, smoke management and QCDD requirement. The preferred candidate shall be knowledgeable with plumbing, drainage, firefighting and a successful track record of delivering detailed designs to the highest international standards. Preference will be given to qualified candidate who can demonstrate experience in the following: * Ability to review building services documentations (drawings, calculations, specifications…) throughout the design process and contribute to content and direction * Proficiency in the design of sustainable HVAC systems including air cooled as well as water cooled plants, firefighting and public health Engineering * Experience in using computer design tools * Interfacing and working with clients in a professional manner to achieve project goals * prior design experience with various building services design codes such as British standards, ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC and other international codes * Previous experience in Lusail City project is an asset * Excellent communication and time management skills Qualifications: Graduation from reputed university in Mechanical Engineering with 6\-8 years of experience in a reputable design firm.
