Summary: The QA/QC Engineer ensures mechanical/electrical works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards through inspections, testing, and documentation. Highlights: 1. Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. 2. Conduct inspections and maintain quality documentation. 3. Coordinate with project teams on quality-related matters. The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical/electrical works are executed in compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and client requirements. The role involves inspections, testing, documentation, and coordination with project teams to maintain quality throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: * Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System. * Conduct inspections of mechanical/electrical works as per approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). * Review project specifications, drawings, method statements, and quality procedures. * Prepare and submit inspection requests to consultants/clients. * Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved standards and procedures. * Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors regarding quality\-related matters. * Maintain quality records, test reports, inspection reports, and related documentation. * Identify non\-conformities and follow up on corrective and preventive actions. * Witness testing and commissioning activities and ensure proper documentation. * Ensure materials received at site comply with approved material submittals and specifications. * Participate in internal and external quality audits. * Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports. Qualifications \& Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in QA/QC within construction, MEP, industrial, or infrastructure projects. * Knowledge of relevant international standards, codes, and quality procedures. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation. * Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills. **Certifications (Preferred)** * ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor * UPDA/MMUP Certification * Familiarity with standards such as: * ASHRAE (HVAC) * NFPA (Fire Protection) * IEC (Electrical \& ELV) Job Type: Full\-time Pay: From QAR6,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
