Role Overview We are seeking an experienced **Acoustical Engineering Lead** to oversee acoustical design projects, manage technical teams, and ensure compliance with international standards. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, drive innovation in acoustical engineering, and collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver world\-class solutions. Key Responsibilities * **Acoustical design**: Lead design and modeling of acoustical systems for buildings and infrastructure. * **Noise control**: Develop strategies to mitigate environmental and industrial noise. * **Simulation \& testing**: Conduct acoustic simulations, measurements, and performance evaluations. * **Compliance oversight**: Ensure adherence to Qatar’s building codes and international acoustical standards. * **Innovation**: Introduce advanced materials, digital tools, and sustainable acoustical practices. * **Collaboration**: Partner with architects, engineers, and government agencies. * **Team leadership**: Mentor acoustical engineers and technical staff. Qualifications * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Acoustical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. * 10\+ years of acoustical engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. * Proven expertise in building acoustics, environmental noise control, and industrial applications. * Proficiency in acoustical modeling software (e.g., EASE, Odeon, SoundPLAN). * Strong knowledge of materials science and sustainable acoustical solutions. * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem\-solving skills. * Familiarity with GCC construction and acoustical standards is an advantage.
