Summary: A TDP Draftsman prepares detailed traffic diversion and temporary traffic management drawings for road and infrastructure projects, supporting engineers and project teams with accurate AutoCAD designs. Highlights: 1. Develop detailed traffic diversion and management drawings using AutoCAD. 2. Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with Qatar regulations. 3. Contribute to critical road and infrastructure projects. A **TDP (Traffic Diversion Plan) Draftsman** is responsible for preparing detailed traffic diversion and temporary traffic management drawings for road and infrastructure projects. The role supports traffic engineers and project teams by producing accurate AutoCAD drawings that comply with Qatar regulations and safety standards. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and revise Traffic Diversion Plans (TDPs) using AutoCAD and related drafting software. * Develop traffic management layouts, detour routes, signage plans, lane closures, and work\-zone drawings. * Coordinate with traffic engineers, project managers, and site teams to incorporate project requirements into drawings. * Ensure all drawings comply with Qatar standards such as Ashghal requirements. * Update and maintain drawing registers, revisions, and project documentation. * Conduct site visits and gather field information when required. * Prepare shop drawings, as\-built drawings, and submission packages for authority approvals. * Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before submission. Requirements * Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. * 2–5\+ years of drafting experience, preferably in roadworks, infrastructure, or traffic management projects. * Strong proficiency in AutoCAD. * Experience with Ashghal projects and traffic diversion plans preferred. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. * Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills. * Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
