Opportunity to grow experience in the food and beverage industry Tromsø Café is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking **Kitchen Assistant** to join our team in Al Hamama, Doha. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast\-paced food service environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and teamwork. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the kitchen team with food preparation, organization, and cleanliness to ensure smooth daily operations. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in basic food preparation, including cutting, portioning, and assembling menu items * Support chefs and cooks during busy service periods * Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and storage areas * Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as required * Ensure proper storage of food items according to safety and hygiene standards * Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of shortages * Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations in compliance with Qatar standards * Assist with receiving and storing deliveries * Support opening and closing kitchen procedures Qualifications and Requirements: * Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred * Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices * Ability to work efficiently in a fast\-paced environment * Good teamwork and communication skills * Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment * Professional attitude and willingness to learn * Basic English communication skills required * Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays * Must be legally eligible to work in Qatar Work Environment: * Busy café kitchen setting * Exposure to heat and kitchen equipment * Standing for extended periods If you are dependable, eager to learn, and interested in growing your experience in the food and beverage industry, we invite you to apply for the Kitchen Assistant position at Tromsø Café.
