Summary: Seeking an experienced and creative Chef/Baker specializing in Shokupan to develop a new food concept focusing on premium Japanese milk bread and signature sandwich recipes. Highlights: 1. Opportunity to build a premium Shokupan sandwich concept from scratch Shokupan / Japanese Bread Chef We are looking for an experienced and creative **Chef/Baker specializing in Shokupan (Japanese milk bread)** to help develop a new food concept in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate should be able to produce **very soft, fluffy, high\-quality Japanese milk bread** consistently and help us develop signature sandwich recipes and fillings. Responsibilities * Develop and perfect our Shokupan recipe. * Produce consistent, soft and fluffy Japanese milk bread. * Test different recipes, fermentation methods and baking techniques. * Help develop fillings, sauces and sandwich combinations. * Standardize recipes for future restaurant production. * Calculate ingredient quantities and assist with food\-cost control. * Train kitchen staff once recipes are finalized. * Maintain high standards of hygiene and food quality. Requirements * Professional baking or pastry experience. * Strong knowledge of bread fermentation and dough preparation. * Experience with Japanese bread, Shokupan, Hokkaido milk bread or similar breads is highly preferred. * Ability to develop recipes from scratch. * Creative and willing to participate in recipe testing and tasting sessions. * Experience working in a professional bakery, restaurant or hotel kitchen. * Candidates currently based in Qatar are preferred.
