Summary: Seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and systems in industrial settings. Highlights: 1. Perform maintenance on electrical equipment and systems 2. Troubleshoot and repair motors, MCCs, VFDs, and switchgear 3. Ensure compliance with safety procedures **Key Responsibilities** * Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and systems. * Troubleshoot and repair: o Motors and pumps o Motor Control Centers (MCCs) o Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) o Switchgear and transformers o Power distribution systems (LV/MV) o PLC and SCADA\-related electrical components * Inspect, test, and maintain electrical panels, breakers, relays, and control circuits. * Assist in plant start\-up, shutdown, and commissioning activities. * Monitor plant electrical performance and identify potential failures. * Read and interpret electrical drawings, single\-line diagrams, and wiring schematics. * Ensure compliance with safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and permit\-to work systems. * Coordinate with operations, mechanical, and instrumentation teams to minimize downtime. * Maintain maintenance records, reports, and spare\-parts inventory. * Support emergency breakdown maintenance on a shift basis. Required Qualifications * Diploma / ITI / Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology. * 3–5 years (or as specified) of industrial electrical maintenance experience. * Experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, or desalination plants is preferred. * Knowledge of: o PLC systems o SCADA systems o VFDs o MCCs o LV/MV electrical systems o Electrical safety standards and procedures.
