Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters **Job Summary** We are seeking a proactive and dedicated **HSE Officer** to join our construction and fit\-out team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards, conducting site inspections, identifying hazards, and promoting a strong safety culture across all project activities. **Key Responsibilities** * Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures across project sites. * Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with HSE regulations. * Ensure all work activities comply with company policies, client requirements, and applicable local regulations. * Monitor Permit\-to\-Work (PTW) activities and ensure safe execution of high\-risk work. * Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training programs for employees and subcontractors. * Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. * Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and promote safe work practices. * Prepare Method Statements, Risk Assessments (RAMS), and HSE documentation before work execution. * Coordinate emergency response procedures, evacuation drills, and first aid arrangements. * Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, permits, and other safety documentation. * Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters. * Promote continuous improvement in safety performance and foster a positive safety culture on site. * Perform any other HSE\-related duties assigned by management. **Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health \& Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. * **Min. 10 years** of HSE experience in construction, fit\-out, or infrastructure projects. * **NEBOSH IGC** certification is mandatory. * IOSH Managing Safely, ISO 45001, or other HSE certifications are an advantage. * Strong knowledge of Qatar HSE regulations, Permit\-to\-Work systems, risk assessments, and incident investigation. * Experience in conducting HSE inspections, audits, toolbox talks, and emergency drills. * Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office. * **GCC/Qatar experience is mandatory.** * Valid QID and driving license are preferred.
