Train and guide junior riggers on safe lifting procedures **Experience:** 5 Years **Industry:** Oil \& Gas **Location:** Doha **Salary:** QAR 3,000 – 3,500 Key Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate all lifting and rigging activities at site as per approved lifting plans and safety standards. * Ensure cranes, lifting accessories, slings, shackles, hooks, and rigging tools are inspected and certified before use. * Lead riggers, crane operators, and lifting crews for safe execution of daily lifting operations. * Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings before starting work activities. * Verify load weight, crane capacity, lifting radius, and site conditions before lifting operations. * Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, Qatar Energy requirements, and oil \& gas safety regulations. * Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and HSE personnel for smooth work execution. * Review lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments before critical lifting activities. * Monitor heavy and critical lifting operations to ensure safety and operational efficiency. * Stop unsafe work practices and immediately report hazards, incidents, or near misses. * Maintain proper communication between crane operators and rigging teams during lifting operations. * Prepare daily reports, lifting records, and equipment inspection documentation. * Train and guide junior riggers and lifting crew on safe lifting procedures and best practices. * Ensure lifting activities are completed within project schedule and quality standards. Requirements * Minimum 5 years of experience as Lifting Foreman in Oil \& Gas projects. * Good knowledge of lifting operations, rigging procedures, and crane safety. * Ability to read lifting plans and crane load charts. * Strong leadership and communication skills. * Familiarity with Permit to Work (PTW) system and HSE procedures. Preferred Certifications * Lifting Foreman / Rigger Certification * Valid Third\-Party Lifting Certification * H2S \& Safety Training * T\-BOSIET (preferred for offshore projects) * First Aid \& Fire Fighting Training Education * Diploma / ITI / Technical qualification preferred. Pay: QAR3,000\.00 \- QAR3,500\.00 per month Work Location: In person
