Focus on individual child development and progress We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Teacher to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the early educational experiences of our young learners. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of early childhood development, a creative approach to teaching, and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment. **Responsibilities:** * **Curriculum Planning:** Develop and implement age\-appropriate curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Design activities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and hands\-on learning. * **Classroom Management:** Create a welcoming and organized classroom environment that promotes active participation, cooperative play, and a sense of belonging. Set clear expectations for behavior and create a positive classroom culture. * **Individualized Instruction:** Recognize and address the unique learning needs and interests of each child. Provide personalized attention to support their growth and development. * **Parent Communication:** Establish open and effective lines of communication with parents and guardians. Provide regular updates on children's progress, achievements, and areas of development. * **Assessment and Progress Tracking:** Monitor and document each child's growth, maintaining accurate records of their developmental milestones, skills, and challenges. Use assessments to inform instructional decisions. * **Collaboration:** Work collaboratively with fellow educators, administrators, and support staff to create a cohesive learning community. Attend staff meetings and contribute to professional development opportunities. * **Health and Safety:** Ensure the safety and well\-being of all children in the classroom. Adhere to health and safety protocols and respond promptly to any medical or emotional needs. * **Professional Growth:** Stay current with trends and best practices in early childhood education through professional development, workshops, and continued education. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master's preferred). * Minimum 3 years of experience as a Nursery Teacher or in a similar early childhood education role. * Strong understanding of child development theories, teaching methodologies, and age\-appropriate practices. * Creative and adaptable teaching approach that encourages exploration and curiosity. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children. * Familiarity with integrating technology into the classroom is a plus. * CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
