Ensure high-quality installation and commissioning of smart infrastructure Technical \& Installation Project Manager (PMO) – Qatar **Position Title:** Technical \& Installation Project Manager (PMO) **Department:** Projects \& Operations **Location:** Doha, Qatar **Reports To:** Country Manager / General Manager – Qatar Position Summary The Technical \& Installation Project Manager (PMO) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering all Parkonic implementation projects across Qatar. The role oversees the end\-to\-end deployment of parking management systems, including ANPR cameras, networking infrastructure, power requirements, civil works, signage, software integration, testing, and commissioning. The position serves as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with Parkonic's technical and operational standards. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management * Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of all installation and deployment projects across Qatar. * Develop project schedules, implementation plans, resource allocations, and project budgets. * Coordinate all project activities from contract award through site go\-live and handover. * Ensure projects are delivered within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards. * Maintain project documentation, risk registers, issue logs, and progress reports. * Conduct regular project meetings with internal and external stakeholders. * Track project milestones and proactively manage risks and delays. * Provide weekly and monthly project updates to management. Technical Deployment \& Installation * Oversee installation of Parkonic's parking technology infrastructure including: * ANPR Cameras * Network Infrastructure * Communication Equipment * Power Systems * Signage and Wayfinding Systems * VMS Displays * Access Control Equipment * Server and Cloud Connectivity Components * Review technical designs and installation methodologies. * Verify site readiness before deployment. * Ensure all installations comply with Parkonic technical specifications and manufacturer standards. * Coordinate testing, commissioning, and acceptance procedures. * Troubleshoot technical issues during deployment and implementation phases. Contractor \& Vendor Management * Manage installation contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers. * Evaluate contractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements. * Coordinate procurement and delivery of equipment and materials. * Monitor contractor productivity, quality, and adherence to schedules. * Verify completed works prior to payment approval. * Ensure all vendors comply with safety and quality standards. Client \& Stakeholder Management * Act as the primary project contact for clients during implementation. * Coordinate with landlords, developers, consultants, facility management teams, and government authorities. * Attend project meetings and provide implementation updates. * Manage client expectations and resolve project\-related concerns. * Ensure all client requirements are incorporated into project plans. PMO Governance \& Reporting * Establish and maintain project management processes, standards, and reporting structures. * Develop project dashboards and performance tracking tools. * Monitor project KPIs and resource utilization. * Prepare management reports and executive summaries. * Ensure compliance with company project management methodologies. * Maintain project records, documentation, and lessons learned repositories. Permits, Compliance \& Approvals * Coordinate with the Public Relations Officer (PRO) and relevant authorities to obtain: * Work Permits * Municipality Approvals * NOCs * Road Opening Permits * Utility Approvals * Site Access Permits * Ensure projects comply with local regulations, health and safety requirements, and client standards. * Support inspection and approval processes with relevant authorities. Quality Assurance \& Commissioning * Conduct quality inspections throughout project execution. * Ensure installations meet technical specifications and operational requirements. * Develop commissioning and testing plans. * Coordinate system validation and operational readiness testing. * Ensure smooth transition from project implementation to operations. * Obtain client sign\-off and project acceptance certificates. Operations Handover * Coordinate project handover to Operations and Maintenance teams. * Ensure all project documentation is complete and properly archived. * Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions where required. * Verify that all assets, configurations, and site information are documented before handover. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Project Delivery * Percentage of projects delivered on time. * Percentage of projects delivered within budget. * Project schedule adherence. * Number of successful site go\-lives completed. Technical Performance * Installation quality score. * First\-time acceptance rate. * Number of technical defects identified post\-go\-live. * System uptime during commissioning period. PMO Performance * Accuracy of project reporting. * Project documentation compliance. * Resource utilization efficiency. * Project risk mitigation effectiveness. Client Satisfaction * Client satisfaction score. * Number of project escalations. * Project acceptance and sign\-off rate. * Response and resolution time for project\-related issues. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field. * PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification is preferred. * Engineering registration or professional certifications are advantageous. Experience * Minimum 5 years of project management experience. * Experience managing technology deployment, smart infrastructure, parking systems, ITS, telecommunications, security systems, or related projects. * Experience coordinating multiple contractors and stakeholders. * Experience working within Qatar or GCC markets is highly preferred. * Proven track record of delivering projects from initiation through commissioning. Success Profile The successful candidate will ensure that all Parkonic deployments in Qatar are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest technical standards. Success will be measured by on\-time project completion, installation quality, client satisfaction, operational readiness, and the ability to scale Parkonic's implementation activities as the business expands across Qatar.
