Apply primer or plaster to prepare surfaces for finishing coats. Remove old layers through stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, sandblasting, and/or water. Properly protect surfaces during painting and post appropriate warning signs. Clean and store paint, tools, and equipment in designated areas. Communicate with suppliers to adjust paint, stain, or varnish colors. Follow and implement all safety and security policies and procedures of the brand; report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and obtain required certifications. Ensure wearing a clean and complete work uniform; maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times on the job site; respect confidentiality when disseminating information specific to the brand and/or hotel, and protect all company assets. Greet and serve guests according to brand standards, anticipate their needs and respond accordingly, assist guests with disabilities, and warmly thank guests. Use clear and courteous language in all communications. Collaborate and support one another to achieve common goals. Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards. Be able to perform knee extension and flexion movements, including bending, twisting, pulling, and squatting. Climb up and down ladders. Carry, rotate, and handle loads of varying sizes and weights. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place loads weighing up to 23 kilograms independently. Be accustomed to working standing, sitting, and moving for extended periods. Perform all other tasks assigned by supervisors that are consistent with this position. RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Diploma from a technical, vocational, or trade school.
