Role in monitoring and improving workplace safety and compliance **Job description:** * **Conducts risk assessments** to identify workplace hazards * **Implements safety programs** and ensures compliance with regulations * **Investigates incidents** (accidents, near\-misses, property damage) * **Trains employees** on safety procedures and risk prevention * **Monitors compliance** with standards like Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) or company policies * **Recommends improvements** to reduce operational and financial risks **Skill Set:** * NFPA 472 Hazardous materials for first responders operations * NFPA Firefighting course or equivalent * Incident Command qualification * NEBOSH certification Preferred Qualification/Certification * A recognized National Higher Diploma or equivalent from a recognized University * NFPA Fire fighter or similar teaching background or qualification * Ambulance Emergency Assistant or EMT equivalent * High angle rescue or equivalent qualification * Advanced petrochemical firefighting course. **Minimum Experience:** * 5 Years’ operational experience in an emergency service, preferably in petrochemical and/or oil and gas industry. * Demonstrable applied knowledge and experience in the role of an emergency response leader * Evidence of Fire Fighting and support capabilities within Oil and Gas Petrochemical Facility **Job Specific Skills:** * Advance Petrochemical and Oil and Gas Firefighting. * HAZMAT Operational Training. * Radiation Protection Officer Training Job Type: Full\-time Pay: QAR15,000\.00 \- QAR18,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
