Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers We are seeking a highly experienced **Senior Mechanical Engineer** to join our consultancy firm and lead the the end to end development of Mechanical system, from concept to production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily engineering activities developing and reviewing designs, and ensuring all mechanical systems meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and performance. **Key Responsibilities** 1\. Manage and oversee all mechanical engineering activities within the mechanical department. 2\. Review, evaluate, and approve mechanical designs and drawings. 3\. Ensure compliance with local authorities’ regulations and standards. 4\. Maintain alignment with client requirements, expectations, and project specifications. 5\. Supervise project progress and ensure timely delivery of high\-quality work. 6\. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, structural, and architectural departments. 7\. Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and design staff. 8\. Ensure implementation of best engineering practices and quality assurance procedures. 9\. Prepare calculations, knowledge of using HAP, Elite, etc… 10\. Lead, participate, involvement in all design stages from concept to IFC stages. 11\. Coordinate, meet with the local authorities and knowledge in the authority permit process. 12\. Attending meeting with clients. 13\. Knowledge of the latest industry products and familiarities. **Required Qualifications** 1\. Minimum 10\-15 years of experience in mechanical engineering design within a consultancy environment. * Proven experience in commercial, residential, and mixed\-use building projects, infrastructure and utilities. * Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and authority regulations. * Experience in design development and design review, project coordination, and team leadership. * Excellent problem\-solving and decision\-making skills. * Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (mandatory).
