Edoxi focuses on practical learning experiences that prepare learners for real\-world success. **Role Description** This is a part time, on\-site Coding for Kids Trainer role based in Doha, Qatar. The Coding for Kids Trainer will design and deliver engaging, age\-appropriate coding lessons for children using languages and tools such as Scratch, block\-based coding platforms, and introductory text\-based languages (e.g., Python). Responsibilities include planning lesson content, creating projects and activities, and adapting teaching methods to different learning styles and age groups. The trainer will monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Additional duties include collaborating with academic coordinators on curriculum improvement, communicating with parents or guardians about learner progress when required, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance. The trainer may also support workshops, camps, and promotional events related to STEM and coding education for young learners. **Qualifications** * Strong foundational skills in programming basics (e.g., logic, loops, conditionals, variables) and familiarity with kid\-friendly coding platforms (e.g., Scratch, block\-based coding tools, introductory Python or similar). * Demonstrated ability to teach or mentor children in a classroom or training environment, using clear explanations, storytelling, and hands\-on activities to simplify technical concepts. * Experience designing lesson plans, projects, and assessments tailored to different age groups and learning levels in STEM or coding\-related subjects. * Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere for diverse learners. * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field; relevant teaching certifications or coding education credentials are an advantage. * Strong organizational and time\-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple classes, sessions, or batches and meet academic schedules. * Comfort with using digital tools and learning platforms for instruction, assignments, and student progress tracking. * Prior experience in training centers, schools, coding bootcamps, or after\-school programs is preferred; experience in the GCC region is a plus.
