**Job description:** Job Summary: The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for joinery and fit\-out production projects. The role requires strong market knowledge, vendor management skills, and a solid understanding of joinery materials and production processes within the GCC region. Key Responsibilities: * Identify and evaluate suppliers for joinery materials such as timber, veneers, laminates, hardware, and finishing products. * Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost\-effective procurement. * Develop and maintain relationships with local and international vendors. * Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules. * Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production and project teams to forecast material requirements. * Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and quality standards. * Conduct supplier performance evaluations and maintain an approved vendor list. * Collaborate with design, estimation, and production departments to ensure technical specifications are met. * Stay updated on market trends, new materials, and alternative suppliers in the GCC region. * Prepare and maintain accurate procurement reports and documentation. Qualifications and Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering) or related field. * Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in the GCC region, preferably in joinery, interior fit\-out, or furniture manufacturing. * Strong knowledge of joinery materials, manufacturing processes, and supplier markets. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. * Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). * Ability to handle multiple procurement projects simultaneously. * Valid GCC driving license (preferred).
